About Peggy
Peggy is a petite girl, tipping the scales at 25 lbs and still growing! At around 11 months old, she’s expected to reach about 38-40 lbs fully grown. She adores other dogs of all sizes and has a calm demeanor, perfect for a quieter household. Currently, Peggy is in a sanctuary in south Texas, just a temporary stop on her journey to a forever home. Rescued from a cemetery, Peggy was one of many dogs fending for themselves. Being the smallest, she likely faced her share of challenges. Despite this, she remains sweet and affectionate. She enjoys watching others play, occasionally joining in for some fun, especially during a good game of chase. Peggy also loves water and can often be found splashing around in a kiddy pool. She is crate trained and working on her leash skills, making her a wonderful companion for relaxing days in the backyard or cuddling during downtime.
