Kermit is a bright-eyed boy ready to hop right into your heart! With his striking blue eyes and goofy charm, he’s lovable and entertaining. He’s looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home to help him recover after surgery for a rear leg CCL injury. Until we can schedule that surgery, he needs a calm environment for rest and recovery. The ideal foster home should be quiet, free of dogs that may encourage play, and provide the love and comfort he needs. His recovery requires strict rest, so he'll need someone ready to monitor his activities closely. Kermit brings a friendly and silly personality, along with a gentle nature and hints of humor that make him a delightful companion. He’s done well with other dogs seen in play yards and got along great with a shelter cat. While presumed good with kids, his playful demeanor and joy for toys, Kongs, and treats will keep him engaged. After a good burst of activity, Kermit enjoys settling in for some quality attention from his favorite humans. If you’re searching for a sweet and slightly goofy companion with movie-star eyes, Kermit is ready to leap into your heart. Click apply to start the adoption process.
