This Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd mix even gallops when he runs, adding charm to his stature. Though he came to us as a stray, his calm and obedient demeanor suggests he's had a loving home before. He does well with other large dogs and is friendly with cats, although a slow introduction is advised given his size. Roman is house trained and knows how to sit. He does have a protective instinct and will bark to alert you of strangers, taking a bit of time to warm up to new people before offering his cuddles. Due to a genetic condition, he requires low-impact exercise, making a semi-active household with a yard ideal for him. He prefers a quiet environment without a lot of visitors, allowing him to bond closely with his family. While car rides aren’t his favorite initially, he settles in nicely once he’s comfortable.
