About Chance

Meet Chance. Some dogs fit their names perfectly, and Chance is surely one of them. This sweet 5-year-old Beagle mix got his name because he was given a second chance at life, and he embraces it with all his heart. Rescued from a hoarding and animal abuse situation, Chance has endured a lot, yet he hasn't lost his love for people. His tail wags with joy, and his eyes light up when he sees you. He believes his forever family is out there. Chance exudes sweetness. He adores attention, cherishes time with his humans, and possesses a gentle, loving personality that draws everyone towards him. At 56 lbs, he's a bit of a couch potato, but with a new exercise regimen and diet, his future looks healthier. Although heartworm positive, Chance is undergoing treatment.
