About Jake
Meet Jake, a friendly Boston Terrier looking for a loving home in Scottsdale, AZ. At five years old, Jake does well with families, kids, and canines alike. He loves to walk, play, and enjoys chewing soft silicone toys. He's great on a leash and behaves well in a car. Jake is housebroken and is good with doggy doors. Jake has proven to be trustworthy inside the houseβno marking, chewing, or barking. He accepts being crated during your absences. However, he had a challenging experience in April 2026 when he was attacked by a much larger dog, resulting in the loss of an eye and a skull puncture. Despite this, he has adjusted remarkably well. He may be a bit reactive on leash when he sees large dogs, so gentle handling is advised. Jake also has a skin allergy to beef and requires a special diet to avoid triggers. His ideal home includes a yard for play, respectful children, and perhaps another dog to keep him company.
