About Trix
Trix has faced challenges that would leave many cats in despair, but she's determined to find a loving home. After living on the streets for years, she was left to fend for herself after her previous owners moved away, resulting in multiple litters of kittens. Thankfully, some compassionate neighbors provided food and eventually contacted us to help. Just when we were set to spay her, Trix surprised us by giving birth in the trap on the very morning of her appointment. Despite her rough past, Trix is a wonderful mother, fiercely protective of her babies. Once she settled into a foster home, her sweet personality began to shine. Trix enjoys being petted and has a medium-length coat that feels incredibly soft. She purrs and chirps appreciatively, often nudging you with her head. Sadly, adult cats like Trix often get overlooked for adoption, especially when cute, small kittens are around. She has about three weeks left with us before her kittens are ready for adoption, and without an approved application, Trix may have to return to the streets. However, she will be spayed and vaccinated, and some caring individuals will ensure she gets fed. Still, finding her a permanent home would be the ideal outcome. While we don't know about Trix's interactions with dogs or children, she seems adaptable and could likely adjust to a calm environment with slow introductions.
