About Mama Poppi
Mama Poppi has dedicated her life to caring for others, most recently her five puppies, whom she brought to safety after wandering onto a kind family's farm. Now, it's her time to receive the love and attention she deserves. She's still adjusting to trusting people, needing a patient adopter who can support her as she settles in at her own pace. Every day, Mama Poppi becomes a little braver, especially when belly rubs are involved. She adores neighborhood walks, where she shows off her beautiful leash manners, and is starting to explore just how enjoyable life can be. While she's still getting accustomed to new people and other pets, with time and love, she’s ready to leave motherhood behind and embrace her new happy, spoiled life. Mama Poppi is available for adoption and eligible for our foster-to-adopt program for homes within two hours of Chattanooga. This program allows her to settle in while you determine if she’s the right fit. Currently, she's in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and we can arrange transport to various locations across the continental United States, though we cannot adopt to Massachusetts residents at this time.
