Meet Kira! This charming 2-year-old, 20-pound scruffy Terrier/Shih Tzu mix has an adorable little face and a heart eager to belong. Kira is spayed and gets along wonderfully with people and other dogs, making her the perfect companion for couch cuddles and neighborhood strolls. Kira isn’t looking for much; she just wants a loving family to spoil her a little and remind her that she’s home. Although she's heartworm positive, Take Paws Rescue will cover her treatment costs. Her future family will only need to provide the love and support she needs to get healthy. With so much life and love ahead, Kira is ready to leave uncertainty behind for a cozy bed and a safe home. Who's ready to give this sweet girl the family she deserves? If you're interested in meeting Kira, please complete an application through Take Paws Rescue's website. What are you waiting for?
