Hopscotch is a young, small male Chihuahua. He is neutered and is waiting for a nurturing home in Santa Cruz, CA. Although his specific weight and coat length aren't provided, he presents as a tiny tan bundle of joy.

About Hopscotch

Meet Hopscotch, the tiny tan chihuahua with a playful spirit. He came to the shelter as a stray, so his history is a bit of a mystery. Upon arrival, Hopscotch was initially nervous, but he quickly warmed up to the staff, revealing a love for belly rubs and attention. He needs a patient adopter who can help him transition to his new home, allowing his true personality to shine. Hopscotch has had positive interactions with a dog of similar size, and any resident dogs should meet him beforehand. We don’t have information about his experience with children or cats. Hopscotch is currently available for pre-adoption and will be ready to go home after his neuter surgery. The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation is also offering “Pawsitivity Bucks,” a $200 training voucher to help newly adopted dogs connect with local positive reinforcement trainers.
