Meet Meatball! This special guy is eager to find his forever home. He came to us as a stray and has quickly captured the hearts of our staff and volunteers. Although he feels a bit scared here at the shelter, he reveals glimpses of his energetic side when he knows he's safe, though his bursts of energy don’t last long. Meatball can be protective of those he bonds with, so some management may be needed around his people. His favorite place to be is curled up in someone's lap, soaking up the love. He truly enjoys a gentle touch, especially right underneath his collar, and he’ll melt into your lap when you find just the right spot! A calm environment will suit him well, allowing him to relax comfortably. Meatball could stand to shed a few pounds for a better quality of life, but with the right consistency and patience, this boy will blossom.
