Jenkins is a clever, 6-year-old Corgi weighing in at 30 pounds. He's fully vetted and knows how to entertain himself and his family with games of fetch and puzzle-solving. With a knack for fetching, he'll drop the ball right at your feet to keep the game going. This little helper also has a talent for cleaning up crumbs in the kitchen and enjoys a few Cheerios when it's training time. Jenkins is crate-trained and familiar with harnesses, although he calls it "getting lassoed." After a play session, he loves to snuggle up next to you, becoming the perfect little spoon. Though Jenkins has shared a home with another dog previously, he's developed some stress issues around dogs due to a past incident. He's worked with a behaviorist and is on Fluoxetine to help with his anxiety. For Jenkins to thrive, a home without other dogs would be ideal. He has lived with an older cat, yet it’s uncertain how he would respond to new feline friends. With a baby on the way in his current home, finding a new, calmer atmosphere is essential for all. Jenkins is currently in Colleyville, TX, and can be adopted with transport options available out of state. Each adoption comes with a fee that includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, and more.
