Say hi to Bronco! This striking gentleman is a 1.5-year-old Rottweiler who has captivated hearts since arriving at our rescue. Once a terrified soul from an Amish puppy mill, Bronco has undergone training and is now ready for his forever home. When Bronco first came to us, he needed to be carried into the training program due to his fear. Now, he's transformed into an outgoing and happy companion with a playful, ‘puppy-like’ spirit. He thrives in a loving environment and is looking for specific qualities in a forever family. Bronco would do best in a home with: - A securely fenced backyard. While he likes to do his business on a leash, he relishes the chance to sprint and explore outdoors, especially enjoying a good game of fetch. - Fur siblings around his size. At 94 pounds, he enjoys the company of other dogs, but his energetic play style can be overwhelming for smaller companions. - Experience with Rottweiler or guardian breeds. If you’re accustomed to smaller or less assertive dogs, Bronco might be a challenge. His ideal owner would have hands-on experience with larger dogs so he can adjust comfortably. - A commitment to ongoing training. He’s mastered the basics, but requires a family dedicated to keeping up with his exercise routine and training. A young Rottweiler like Bronco needs leadership to thrive. Overall, Bronco is a beautiful boy with a heart full of love, ready for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between. He can be a bit much for young kids, so we recommend a household with children aged ten or older. He also finds cats particularly entertaining, so it may be best to keep him away from feline friends.
