Meet Sporty, an affectionate and eager-to-please fellow currently looking for a loving home in the Boston, MA area. This mid-energy boy, incorporating a mix of breeds, including Pointer, brings a balance of adventure and tranquility to the table. He’s just as happy to enjoy a quiet evening as he is to join you on long walks or runs; he thrives on the companionship of trusted humans. Though Sporty had a challenging start to life, he’s ready to come out of his shell. Initially shy, he warms up to people with a few minutes of observation; patience will yield his sweet side. He’s incredibly friendly towards children, happily accepting hugs and kisses, and has shown his gentle demeanor around cats and other dogs. In fact, he enjoys the company of his canine friends and would be thrilled to share his new home with one. Sporty is house trained and has been making great strides in crate training. While he may whine initially when crated, he sleeps well and sometimes opts to hang out in there on his own.
