About Tennessee

Meet Tennessee, a beautiful charcoal mixed breed dog looking for a foster home to help him heal. Just days ago, he faced an uncertain future on the euthanasia list at Chicago Animal Care and Control, but a compassionate person saw him, and that changed everything. Now in a safe space, he’s recovering from an upper respiratory infection and needs a quiet environment away from other dogs. At just 1 year old, Tennessee has a lot of love to give and is eager to connect with a caring foster. He gets along well with dogs and children, showing his friendly and gentle nature. As he recovers, he will need to be neutered, and the rescue organization will take care of all his medical needs. All he wants is a cozy spot to rest...and for someone to show him that second chances do exist. Could you be the one to help Tennessee heal? Your support could change his life forever.
