Blue and Rue are about three months old and are believed to be a mix of Silver Lab and German Shepherd. They could end up weighing around 60 pounds or a bit more or less when fully grown. Blue has a sweet disposition but needs time to warm up, as he was semi-feral when rescued. Don't expect quick bonding—he may take hours to feel comfortable. Once he does, you’ll find a loving companion. Ongoing socialization is essential for him, as it is for any puppy. He displays more traits typical of a Shepherd than a Lab. Importantly, he needs to be an inside dog. Blue is looking for a loving home where he can thrive. He gets along well with both cats and dogs and is also great with children.
