This affectionate girl is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She is also house trained and currently located in Bethlehem, PA. While she does need some extra love and patience as she transitions into her new home, her potential shines through in her blossoming personality.

Honey Locust has a heartwarming story of resilience. Once abandoned and left to navigate the world alone, she faced incredible challenges. In early March, she found herself stuck in a Honey Locust tree for three long days during a frigid rainstorm, terrified and alone. After being rescued, Honey was understandably wary of people, having been let down in the past. For six months, she stayed in a crate in a heated garage with her foster mom, learning the important lesson of trust. Slowly, she began to emerge from her shell. The day came when Honey was given freedom to explore her surroundings, and now, she spends her time watching the outside world, discovering her capacity for affection. She's learned how to love, but she still needs someone special to help her take the next step in her journey. An ideal home for Honey would be a single-cat household, where she can feel secure and loved without the stress of other animals. It’s essential that her new person understands the importance of patience and is willing to work with Honey’s ongoing fears. She may need to be crated for the first weeks as she adjusts, but trust me, this process is worthwhile. Honey is waiting for that one person who will say, “You don’t have to be afraid anymore. I’m here for you.” If you feel that you can offer a compassionate, understanding environment, then Honey Locust is ready to form a bond with you.
