About Max

Meet Max, a friendly boy who's overcome a rough start in life. At about 6 years old, Max has learned to trust again after being left outside for far too long. Thanks to his caregivers, he’s fully healthy with a shiny coat and bright smile. Max is a social cat who adores spending time with other cats. He plays, wrestles, and engages happily with his feline friends. You’ll often find him enjoying ball toys or catnip. Though he’s adaptable with dogs, he appreciates a bit of personal space. While he may be nervous with strangers, treats can quickly win him over. Max has learned that being petted while munching on snacks is a good thing, and he's coming around to human company. His foster mom says he’s surprisingly obedient; when she tells him to return to his room, Max does so without hesitation. This affectionate cat is looking for a second chance. With a warm heart and playful spirit, he promises to be a loving companion to both you and your other pets. If you have the time to help him blossom, Max would love to be part of your home.
