About Liko
Liko’s story is as heart-wrenching as it is inspiring. Nearly two years ago, she was rescued from a life-threatening situation where she and her family faced unimaginable cruelty. Yet, against the odds, she survived, grew, and learned to trust. After being adopted, Liko is back with us, looking for her forever home once more. This sweet girl can be a bit shy initially, but once she accepts you, she becomes a loyal companion. She loves spending her days by your side and her nights curled up next to you after fun-filled adventures. With her crate and potty training, she has proven to be exceptionally smart. Liko knows commands like sit, stay, down, and place, and walks gracefully on a leash. Structured activities help her thrive, and she absolutely adores sunny spots — you’ll often catch her relaxing in warm rays. Playful and energetic, Liko enjoys walks, hikes, and splashing around in pools, not to mention her goofy antics that earn her the nickname “Mayhem” from her foster family. She is fine around cats and is best suited as the only dog in her future home. While she loves to play, she flourishes without the stress of sharing her human family. Older children who can appreciate her quirky spirit will be great companions for her as well. Liko deserves a stable, loving family who understands her needs and will cherish her for the gentle soul she is. She may take a moment to open her heart, but once she does, she will love fiercely and completely. Her next chapter should be her last, filled with love and stability. You can find Liko currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN. She’s available for transport to various locations within the continental United States, though adoption is not currently offered to residents of Massachusetts. Let’s make it official and give Liko the forever home she truly deserves!
