About Sandy

Meet Sandy, a spirited Poodle mix who is ready to find her forever home. At 10 years old, this small girl weighs in at just 12 pounds. Sandy has a heart of gold and absolutely loves to be petted and adored. Since being rescued from a kill shelter, she has shown her playful side, engaging happily with her 14 resident canine friends. Although she had a rough start and underwent a significant dental surgery that left her with fewer teeth, it hasn’t dampened her spirit. Sandy is house-trained and crate-trained, making her an easy addition to your home. While she’s great with older, respectful children, she can be a bit skittish at times, especially after her past experiences. Those who understand her need for patience will find that she gives delightful little kisses and can be quite affectionate. This sweet girl rarely barks and has adjusted beautifully to life in her foster home, continuing to show her playful energy. Her fur was previously matted, but after a grooming session, you’d never guess that she’d faced such challenges. Sandy is currently in Greenville, OH, and is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. This precious soul deserves a loving home where she can continue to thrive. Don’t miss out on the chance to adopt this lovely girl!
