About Rico NOCO
Meet Rico NOCO, a charming buff orange tabby who’s ready to find his forever home. Rico came to us from NOCO Humane after facing a difficult situation, being placed on the euthanasia list due to behavioral challenges. Initially terrified in the shelter environment, he struggled to trust and often hissed when approached. Fortunately, after coming into our care, Rico found a quieter space where he started to thrive. Now, he's one of the first cats to greet visitors in our 'Library' room, showing off his affectionate side by rubbing against you and meowing sweetly. This sweet boy loves his food and playtime, and he’s motivated by treats to help him warm up to new friends. He has successfully mingled with other cats in his free-roaming room, suggesting he could thrive with feline roommates. While his experience with dogs or small children is unclear, we recommend giving Rico some space initially as he adjusts to a new home. Rico does require dental work due to periodontal disease, and receiving this care will significantly improve his quality of life.
