About Prongs
Prongs is a 7-8 month old German Shorthaired Pointer mix on the lookout for a loving home. Currently in Powell, OH, he's also available for adoption in Cincinnati and Columbus. Prongs enjoys the company of other dogs, having been rescued alongside his friend Padfoot. While he's curious about cats, he is respectful and tends to leave them alone after a brief introduction. Shy at first, he warms up well to people with time. This sweet boy thrives in calm environments, so a home with older children or gentle younger ones is ideal, as loud noises and quick movements can startle him. Prongs loves lounging in the grass, making a fenced backyard a plus, though it's not a necessity. Currently learning the ropes of home life, he's working on commands, potty training, and leash walking and shows good awareness by going to the door when he needs to go out. Prongs is crate trained but prefers a cozy bed for sleeping. He has a lot of love to give and will be a great addition to a patient, loving family. Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
