After spending over five weeks in foster care, her family has gathered plenty of glowing remarks about this special girl. Princess Zelda is cuddly, curious, playful, and so incredibly sweet. She enjoys following her people around, watchfully observing with her soulful eyes. Treats are her favorite; she takes them ever so gently from your fingers. Tug-of-war is high on her list of fun activities—give her a rope toy, and she’ll happily play fetch. When she settles down, she loves a good brushing and makes the cutest little snores while sleeping. She is house-trained, but her signals can be quite subtle. Princess Zelda is polite with her food and water, and she greets everyone with her wagging tail. Her thirteen-year-old grandson has a special place in her heart; she gets so excited to see him, leaning against him and waiting for affection. Car rides are another joy for her. While she could use some help getting in, once she’s settled, she’s eager to go. She enjoys wearing her leash and harness, although she prefers leisurely strolls to brisk hikes. With a lower-moderate energy level, Princess Zelda is generally laid-back but finds her playful side occasionally. When her family needs to leave, some prep helps her feel more comfortable—a walk and a peanut-butter-filled Kong work wonders. She currently stays in a spacious gated area and does well when left alone. Princess Zelda cherishes being close to her family, whether it's helping with socks or just lounging nearby. She’s usually the first to wake up, ready to start her day between 5:00 and 6:30 AM. With her soulful eyes and loving personality, she's absolutely worth the early wake-up call.
