About Frankie

Meet Frankie! This handsome, roughly 2-year-old bully mix was found abandoned and tied to a fence in a Detroit alley before being rescued by MACS staff. Frankie is currently heartworm positive and has begun his treatment here at MACS, with all costs covered by the organization. He’s an energetic goofball with a loving nature, believing wholeheartedly that he’s a perfect lap dog, despite his size! Once his treatment wraps up, Frankie would thrive with an active, dog-savvy owner and older, mature children. He enjoys the company of other dogs but needs a sturdy canine friend who can keep up with his playful antics. We’re not sure yet how he behaves with cats. If you're looking for a big, lovable hunk with an even bigger personality, Frankie might just be your ideal match! Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
