Meet Boone, a gentle spirit in search of a fresh start. This striking hound weighs 65 pounds and has soulful eyes that reflect his thoughtful nature. Rescued from abandonment, Boone’s past hints at a life spent as a hunting dog, likely confined to a kennel for too long. Because of this, he can be shy and cautious initially. However, with time and patience, Boone shows his affectionate side, making him a loyal companion who thrives on gentle interactions. In a calm environment, Boone truly shines and enjoys the company of other dogs, making him a great candidate for a home with a friendly canine companion. Currently fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone seeks either a foster or forever home in Central Texas. He needs a loving, understanding family to support his continued growth, ideally someone familiar with hounds or who appreciates their gentle, loyal nature. If you have a kind heart and a quiet home, Boone could be the perfect match for you. He's ready to heal and flourish in the right environment. Could you be the one to help him?
