Cheese is a small male Chiweenie, young and full of energy. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Currently, he is not house trained and has some anxiety that is managed with medication. Based in Bridgeton, MO, Cheese is waiting for a patient family to provide him with the love and structure he needs.

About Cheese

Cheese is a vibrant, energetic 2-year-old Chiweenie who has a passion for food and fun. Despite his rough past, he has a big heart, ready to share love with the right family. He can be a bit shy at first, especially around men, but warms up quickly. While he hasn’t interacted with children yet, we believe he would thrive with older, respectful kids. In his foster home, Cheese gets along well with both dogs and cats, although he sometimes enjoys chasing the cats; he responds well to calls and shows no aggression. When it comes to dogs, he tends to coexist peacefully. Food is a big deal for Cheese, and he does resource guard when it comes to his meals and treats, so he’ll need to be fed separately. This little fellow enjoys walks, car rides, and playing with toys. Once he feels at home, he loves to cuddle and show off his sweet side. He has shown some signs of anxiety, but medication has helped him feel more secure and content. Cheese is looking for a patient, loving family to help him continue to adjust and learn that he’s safe and loved. Cheese is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, on preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400.00.
