About Rusty
Rusty is a delightful 7-year-old male Pit Bull mix with a gentle disposition. He spends his days snoozing on the sofa, but don’t let that fool you; he’s also an enthusiastic walker who enjoys both short strolls and long adventures. Rusty isn’t much of a barker, though he does have a few adorable Scooby-Doo-style whines, especially when faced with his fears—hallways being one of them. Communication is key for him. He understands English well and picks up new commands quickly, eager to please his humans. While he may be over-enthusiastic about meeting other dogs, with some socialization, he’ll adjust nicely. Rusty is currently loving his kibble mixed with rice and veggies, though he seems to have shown some allergies to salmon, so it's best to keep that in mind while feeding him. He takes treats gently and was a well-mannered gentleman during medical care. He’s welcoming of new human guests, offering playful, licky greetings. This sweet and affectionate boy would make a wonderful addition to any home.
