Having arrived at Fort Bend County Animal Services underweight at just 48.8 pounds, Jason showcases remarkable resilience and spirit. He’s gained over 10 pounds and transformed into a lovable companion with an affectionate nature. Jason is the kind of dog who quietly captivates hearts. He's sweet, gentle, and enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes. Whether it's going on car rides or meeting new friends, Jason is always up for an adventure. His gentle manners shine through, especially when he takes treats carefully from your hand. He responds well to commands, sitting patiently and attentively, awaiting your next cue. Although Jason is unsure about children and cats, he’s a champ with other dogs and has a strong desire to please. He’s fully house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, making him an excellent companion While he’s a bit older, his heart is youthful, enjoying walks and outings without the need to be the center of attention. What Jason seeks is a loving home that sees beyond his gray hairs, appreciating the loyalty and love that an older rescue dog brings. Jason is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He's currently undergoing heartworm treatment but is full of love and gratitude, just waiting for the right person to choose him.
