Alfonso is a 5-year-old, large mixed breed who weighs 59 pounds. He arrived at the shelter as a stray and, while a bit nervous initially, has really come into his own. He enjoys spending time with the volunteers and staff, showcasing his affectionate nature. Alfonso is neutered and fully housetrained. He walks beautifully on a leash and shows no reactivity towards other dogs, making him a joy to take out. He's food motivated, so if you bring out some treats, he’s ready for hikes or a refreshing swim with you. Whether you're an adventurer looking for a hiking companion or someone who enjoys quiet evenings at home, Alfonso is happy to fit into either lifestyle. However, he does not get along with cats, so a home without them would be ideal. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
