Cody is a smart, one-year-old male German Shepherd ready for a fresh start after being rescued from an abandoned hotel with his dog-mama. Currently fostered in Tennessee, he’s eager for a forever home and available for transport to the east coast. Cody is friendly and resilient, with a longing for companionship and love. He thrives with large dogs and would excel alongside a female dog to help build his confidence. While he’s great with older children (12+), he’s not a fit for homes with cats. He is house trained, but he needs further obedience training, so patience and consistency will go a long way with him. This handsome boy has gone through a lot, but his spirit remains strong.
