Meet Eliza, a lovely female Terrier Mix born on April 7, 2021. This sweet soul came to us in dire need, having been extremely emaciated at just 24 pounds. Despite her rough start, Eliza remains upbeat and affectionate. Currently, she is available for foster-to-adopt. Eliza is diabetic and is also heartworm positive, making it essential for her to be in a safe and calm environment for her treatments. She requires insulin injections 30 minutes after meals, twice daily, and her exercise needs to be limited during heartworm treatment. Essentially, she will need crate rest, with gentle potty breaks.
