Lou is a charming boy looking for a family that can help him thrive. Rescued as a stray, he’s ready for a fresh start filled with love, patience, and guidance. Lou has a unique personality and isn’t shy about expressing himself; he’ll certainly let you know when he wants some attention! While he may have some experience with potty-training, he’ll likely need a refresher as he adjusts to a new home. Lou isn’t crate trained yet, and he’ll benefit from further leash training to become a confident walking buddy. It’s important to introduce him to other dogs slowly, as he hasn’t interacted with them much since arriving, and he definitely does not get along with cats. Lou is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, but with your support, he’ll be on the road to recovery.
