After being surrendered by his previous owner, Sundown initially found shelter life overwhelming. Fortunately, he was soon welcomed into a quieter foster home where he learned to feel safe and relaxed. Sundown enjoys daily routines and has settled in well. He wakes up around 7 a.m. for his morning outing, followed by breakfast where he eagerly savors his kibble softened with water. After a delightful breakfast, it’s time for one of his favorite activities—a peaceful walk. Sundown walks beautifully on a leash, showing remarkable calmness even when passing by other dogs. While he prefers smaller, mellow companions, he’s happily adapted to various canine friends. This sweet pup is not just about play; he loves to lounge around too. He often chooses his own bed, snuggling in close yet independent, relishing in cozy comforts. With a penchant for soft beds, Sundown thinks dog beds are among life’s finest creations. After a full day of adventures, he sleeps soundly through the night, comfortable and content. Sundown is sociable with other dogs and even coexists with cats in his foster home, mostly ignoring them. His ideal home would be calm and supportive, preferably with gentle, dog-savvy older children. He values security and affection, thriving when surrounded by trusted companions. While he may not yet know many commands, his eagerness for treats makes training an exciting opportunity for building bonds.
