About Harvey aka DHF
Harvey, also known as DHF, is a 1-year-old male beagle looking for a patient and understanding adopter. He's a sensitive soul who is still finding his footing in unfamiliar situations. During assessments, he exhibited nervousness around new people and environments, often retreating and avoiding eye contact. With that said, he does show some signs of trust by cautiously accepting food when given space. Harvey interacts well with other dogs and could greatly benefit from having a calm, confident canine companion by his side to help him navigate the world. His ideal home would be one that offers a quiet environment where he can build his confidence at his own pace. If you're willing to provide the consistency and kindness he needs, you might just discover a loyal companion in this gentle boy. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
