Bartlebee, affectionately known as Bartles, is an 8-year-old poodle mix weighing 13 pounds. He has a really calm demeanor and is friendly with both dogs and older kids. Bartlebee is house and crate trained, making him a great companion for someone with a secure, fenced yard where he can roam or enjoy leisurely walks on a leash. His foster mom describes him as incredibly snuggly. He gets the zoomies when he feels happy and safe, and loves to sleep a lot. Once he forms a bond with his people, he follows them everywhere and has a cute habit of wagging his tail with delight. It's essential that Bartlebee goes to a home where he can sit on the furniture and receive lots of attention. He also prefers to sleep in bed with his family and thrives on consistency and structure. If your home does not meet these criteria, please do not apply. The rescue will prioritize local applications first due to the need for home checks. Like all dogs, Bartlebee needs some time to settle into his new environment, so it’s best if there are no visitors for the first couple of weeks.
