About Moose

Meet Moose. Moose was found wandering a local baseball field wearing a green collar, with his name written in black marker. After days of searching for his owner, it became apparent he had been abandoned. When he arrived at the shelter, Moose was frightened, running and barking in confusion. Fortunately, one of our shelter workers was at the park with her grandkids and managed to safely catch him. Although he's been with us for months without much interest, Moose just needs a bit of time to show his true colors. Initially shy, he takes a while to get to know someone, but once he does, he transforms into a loyal friend. His ideal adopter would be someone calm, patient, and loving, as he needs multiple meet-and-greets to feel comfortable. Moose prefers to be the only pet in the home and would do best in an adult-only environment or one with older children. Training is a work in progress, and he will require guidance to adapt to a new routine. With time to decompress and the right approach, Moose can become an amazing companion. If you're up for a bit of a challenge, come meet this sweet boy! Your new best friend is just one click away.
