About Lena

Lena is the perfect travel-sized hiking companion youโ€™ve been searching for. This sweet and energetic girl has the charming blend of a Jack Russell and Border Collie demeanor. At four years old, sheโ€™s already potty trained, enjoys car rides, and settles well in a crate. Although Lena plays nicely with other dogs, she's quite curious about cats and may only get along with a very dog-savvy one. Being a smart, treat-motivated pup, she thrives in an active home that continues her training, especially with leash work and recall. With a knack for climbing fences, a secure yard is essential for her. Although small enough for apartment living, sheโ€™ll need regular walks or hikes to burn off her energy. Keep in mind she has a strong prey drive and will chase chickens and livestock. Lena is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and dewormed. If youโ€™d like to meet her, please schedule an appointment with Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue in Chico, CA.
