This animal is very unsure in new environments and will need a patient, understanding home that can give them plenty of time and space to adjust at their own pace. With gentle care and consistency, Monique has the potential to slowly build confidence and begin to feel safe. Monique is not comfortable with other cats or dogs and would do best as the only pet in a quiet home where they can decompress without pressure. This animal will need a calm environment and a caregiver who is committed to helping them come out of their shell through trust-building and positive, low-stress interactions. As a young cat, Monique is still developing their confidence and personality. With patience, routine, and a loving approach, they can gradually learn that people can be safe and kind.
