Living in Watertown, WI, Rue is a mix of breeds, likely with a Shepherd influence. While she is a bit scared and shy at the moment, she shows great promise as she continues to gain confidence in her new environment.
About Rue
Rue is a young female dog who arrived with her sister, Veda, as strays. These two are quite the mystery; they appear to be around 1.5 to 2 years old, likely mixed Shepherds, but they only weigh about 35 pounds. It seems they spent much of their early lives in a pen and are noticeably undersocialized. Although they are fearful of people, they thrive on playing together in a secure yard. Rue will need an experienced adopter who understands the needs of dogs that have had very little interaction and will provide a loving home with a fenced yard.
