About Hope

Meet Hope. This lovely 4-year-old Pit Bull arrived at the shelter as a stray and has shown remarkable resilience. Initially scared and nervous, she came to us with a significant wound on her neck and hip, as well as a severe yeast infection that affected her ears. Thankfully, after receiving the care she needed, her wounds and skin are healing beautifully. Now, Hope is focused on her next chapter — finding a warm and safe home. She is a gentle spirit who looks to her human friends for guidance. When uncertain, she observes her shelter mates and learns from them. With her stunning blue eyes and sweet nature, Hope will blossom once she feels secure. While she is house trained, she is quite nervous around other dogs, so a home as the only dog or with a calm, respectful companion would be ideal. Hope thrives in a quiet environment and needs a caring individual who can help her build confidence at her own pace. Show her love and patience, and you will witness her transformation into the dog she was meant to be. Her name is Hope for a reason; she is still hoping that her forever person is out there.
