Meet Auto! This 5-year-old Lab mix has shown how a little kindness can change a life. Found wandering near a Pick & Pull, Auto initially arrived feeling scared and unsure, but in just a few weeks, he's made tremendous progress and is ready to find his forever home. At first, Auto was nervous about leashes and new experiences, but he learned to trust people quickly. Now, he seeks out affection and often leans against his handlers for reassurance. Once outside, Auto's playful side shines through. He loves exploring and has shown interest in playing with other dogs. During a recent introduction, he was a bit enthusiastic but handled the interaction well, showing a willingness to disengage when corrected. A proper dog-to-dog introduction is essential for compatibility. Auto is still learning the basics and would thrive with an adopter who can provide training, structure, and positive reinforcement. He’s a work in progress, but his journey from a frightened dog to a sweet, confident companion is truly special.
