About Black Jewel Fiv Positive

Black Jewel Fiv Positive has faced challenges that many cats shouldn't have to endure. Rescued from a tough life outside near Austin Peay, she was once cared for by a compassionate community member. This little mama recently nursed kittens, though their fate is a mystery now. She was found covered in ticks and struggling to survive. Now safe in rescue, Black Jewel is already spayed and vaccinated for rabies. Her ear has been tipped, indicating her prior life as an outdoor cat. After a recent visit to the vet for her necessary vaccinations and treatments, she received an unexpected diagnosis: she is FIV positive. At an estimated 1 to 2 years old, this sweet black cat is more than just her circumstances. Despite the labels that often lead people to overlook her, Black Jewel is incredibly affectionate and great with kids. She also gets along well with small dogs and other cats, given proper introductions. FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, so peaceful living arrangements are attainable. Don't let her labels define her. Every lovable creature like Black Jewel deserves a second chance at a loving home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
