He arrived at Fort Bend County Animal Services quite underweight at just 48.8 pounds; despite this, his records reflected his enduring good spirit. Jason has since gained over 10 pounds and continues to thrive. He possesses a heartwarming personality. Known for being sweet, gentle, and affectionate, he enjoys playful moments with dogs of all sizes and loves making new friends. Car rides and outdoor adventures excite him just as much as quiet moments at home. With both men and women, Jason is incredibly friendly. He’s a real charmer who approaches treats with careful gentleness, showcasing his calm and attentive nature. He knows basic commands like “sit” and is eager to please, making training a breeze. Jason is potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. While he’s great with dogs, he’s unsure about children and has not yet been tested with cats. He may have a few gray hairs, but he is still very much a spirited companion who enjoys walks and outings. It’s clear that he finds joy in simply being included in life’s daily activities. This loving gentleman is navigating heartworm treatment, but that hasn’t stopped him from being an affectionate friend.
