About Kizzy
Kizzy is a spirited little Scottish Terrier who came to us at five years old after a difficult start. She was surrendered by a shelter that recognized her need for a more dedicated environment, having previously lived with a woman who faced homelessness. Unfortunately, this left Kizzy without the treatment she needed for her allergies, resulting in damaged skin and hair. Now spayed and on daily apoquel, Kizzy is feeling better, although her coat might not fully regrow. This cosmetic issue does not define her vibrant personality. Kizzy is lively and loves to play, and she especially enjoys snuggling under the covers at bedtime. While she's currently living with three other small dogs, it would be best for her to be the only dog in her forever home, as she isn't particularly compatible with other dogs. Kizzy has had all her vaccinations, bloodwork is excellent, and she’s heartworm/lyme tested negative. This resilient girl deserves a loving home that sees her for the loyal companion she is.
