Snowball is a substantial gal at nearly 12 pounds, but that just means there is more of her to love! She is about 7 years old and is diabetic. She takes a pill once a day to treat it and is doing great! She takes the pill easily crushed up in her wet food. The medicine (Bexacat) does cost around $125/month, but she is responding well. An insulin injection is a less costly treatment alternative that the adopter can discuss with their veterinarian if they would like to go that route. She had a dental while in our care, which is a nice savings for her potential adopter since they can be very pricey! She is reported by volunteers to be sweet and mellow. Snowball deserves a nice retirement home on someone's couch! Will it be yours?
