About Smokey Joe

Smokey Joe is a striking 14-month-old German Shepherd and Pit Bull mix, showcasing a stocky build at around 55 lbs. He participated in a prison Dog Training program, mastering commands like Sit, Stay, Wait, Down, Come, and Leave it. Smokey is housebroken, crate trained, and neutered, with vaccinations up to date. His energy is best suited for homes with larger dogs since he plays hard. A fenced yard or an active runner/walker would be ideal to help him expend that energetic puppy spirit. While Smokey calms down quickly, he does have a prey drive outside and hasn't been tested with cats, making older children or no kids preferable. This affectionate pup enjoys hoarding dog toys, so stock up before adopting! Smokey Joe promises to bring joy and companionship to his new family.
