Meet Lilly, the 8 year old brown tabby. Lilly came to the Shelter after the previous home environment just wasn’t the best for her. Lilly would thrive in a home free of other animals as they cause her stress. She has experience being indoor outdoor in her previous home but, due to her age, it may be best for her to be indoors only OR have a safe catio environment if she goes outside. Lilly’s favorite activities in her previous home are playing with her feather toy and chasing bugs. She loves to drink out of a water fountain. Lilly would thrive in a calm environment with a family that will let her transition at her own pace. She is fairly overweight and needs an adopter that will help her get some extra steps in and work with their veterinarian on her daily calories. Lilly’s adoption fee is sponsored thanks to the Silver Whisker’s Society, a fund aiming to get often overlooked seniors out of the Shelter! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
