Meet Derek McDreamy! This 5-month-old Belgian Malinois is a handsome, goofy, and ridiculously sweet puppy. He truly lives up to his name and brings a heart of gold wherever he goes. Derek is already winning hearts at 35 lbs and is set to grow into a striking 70–80 lb adult. Social by nature, he believes everyone he meets is his new best friend, making him a joy to have around. He gets along great with other dogs, enjoying playtime with his foster siblings. As a typical Malinois, he’s a bundle of energy and will thrive in an active home that offers him the exercise and mental stimulation he craves. Although he’s still figuring out how to play with toys, Derek’s true passion is splashing around in the water. He’s a real sweetheart, always eager to cuddle up beside you and be involved in whatever you’re doing. Currently, he’s impressively mastering potty training without any accidents and is comfortable in his crate, settling down quickly after some initial whines. Given his energy level, Derek would do best with older children who can handle his exuberance as he grows.
