About Rachel
Meet Rachel! This young, spayed female Persian cat is a bit shy but has a huge heart. At two years old and weighing 5 lbs, she sports stunning green eyes and a beautiful long coat of white and gray. Rachel thrives in a home where she has another sweet cat to bond with, preferably her older sister Melody, who is also looking for a new family. While she might be open to the idea of a calm, small dog, she currently prefers the company of fellow felines. A home without children under 13 would be ideal, as she does best with cat-savvy, respectful teens. Rachel loves human affection more than toys, so expect her to curl up close once she trusts you. Initially, she’ll likely need her own space to feel comfortable. Once acclimated, she’ll happily join you for relaxed evenings on the couch. This sweet girl requires gentle handling to ensure she feels secure. To provide Rachel with the best transition, she should start in a designated "base camp" room, allowing her to emerge on her own terms. She is litter-trained and will do wonderfully with open-style boxes filled with unscented clumping litter. If you’re seeking a quiet, loving companion who needs a calm home, Rachel might just be the right match. Could you be the one to help her build her confidence and feel loved?
