Tig is a small male Affenpinscher, just 9 months old. He's altered and fully vaccinated. Living in Jacksonville, IL, he is learning to trust his environment and gets along well with other dogs. Although he is still a bit shy with humans, he has the potential to grow into a wonderful pet with patience and love.

About Tig

Tig's journey began with some challenges; he wasn't socialized much, which means he's still learning to trust people. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a great companion for furry friends. Tig will need guidance to master walking on a leash and to build trust with his new family, but heโ€™s ready to make that leap. Although he's small, he can jump quite high, so a privacy fence is a good idea for his safety. We're unsure how he will behave around children and cats. With his adoption fee set at $300, he's waiting for someone special to help him flourish. All animals receive age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. To meet Tig and our other incredible dogs, visit PAWS on Friday or Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM or call us at 217-243-7297. Applications are accepted in person or over the phone. With an approved application, a deposit will hold your new best friend for up to one week. This deposit is non-refundable and not applied to the adoption fee.
