About Sardine

Meet Sardine! Sardine came to us from a local TNR colony. She's playful, curious, and has a strong personality. While she might seem a bit aloof initially, she prefers to approach you on her own terms. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes a real sweetheart. Sardine enjoys the company of her fellow foster cats and will eagerly remind her foster mom when it’s snack time! She gets along with other cats, but may not be the best fit for homes with dogs or small children. Older kids who respect her space would be ideal. Sardine has a hearty appetite and isn’t picky—she loves everything from dry food to cat treats. Sardine is up to date on her vaccinations, has been dewormed, microchipped, and altered. We will also recommend a fecal test within 48 hours post-adoption, and we're here to cover any necessary deworming if required. She’s doing really well with her litter box, and we suggest starting her in a smaller room during the acclimation process. We also provide transition food and are available for any post-adoption questions. While we’d love for you to continue care with us at Pawsitive Care, you're welcome to choose your own vet. Think Sardine might be the one for you? Contact us to learn more! Pawsitive Cause is a no-kill, foster-based rescue located in Holly, MI. Our animals thrive in foster homes until they find their forever family. An approved application and a meet-and-greet are required for adoption.
